We provide 4K education through the Waunakee school district.

We also provide wrap-around childcare so your child can stay in one place all day and you don’t have to worry about transportation in the middle of the day.

Our Brilliant Curriculum

Our 4K days will be filled with a play-based curriculum guided by the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. Each child’s social and emotional development will be enhanced with Second Step: Social-Emotional Curriculum.

“Homework”

Each week you will get some fun homework to practice what we have been learning in school. It will come home in your Thursday folder and will be due back on Monday. This is optional so don’t worry if you can’t get to it all. Your only job in 4K is to have fun!

4K is a time for learning classroom expectations to get ready for elementary school!

Some phrases you might will hear our brilliant teachers use are: 

  • Please use your inside voice.
  • Please sit crisscross applesauce.
  • Can you show me your walking feet?
  • Please use kind words with your friends.

Our Student to Teacher Ratio

The district sets a 13 to 1 student to teacher ratio. But we have a 16-2 ratio.

We have one teacher and hire assistant teachers who are either going into the education field or education students from UW- Madison and Edgewood College.
